Come immerse yourself in the beautiful scenery and culture of Salvador Brazil! In this tour package you will be given the opportunity to teach English to elementary students at the Afro-Brazilian school, Escola Maria Felipa. Not only will you teach English, you will also have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Portuguese language through the art of dance and martial arts during our visit to a Capoeira school! To secure your spot make a $100 registration deposit today. Registration closes November 15th. You can pay the tour in full or make monthly installments due on the 15th of every month. Final payment due 60 days before takeoff. You're going to Salvador Bahia!

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival: Monday May 26
Upon arrival, the group will be met by guides holding The True Story Tourism Group Sign. You will be transferred to your hotel for check in. Afternoon at your leisure. Evening Welcome Dinner
Day 2: Tuesday May 27
First day of language immersion at Capoeira school! We will gather for a communal lunch In the evening we will be met by our tour guide Nilzette (Nil) who will take us on a tour of the city! Let’s put your Portugese to the test!
Day 3: Wednesday May 28
Second day of language immersion at Capoeira school Now that you have learned about Salvador through our city tour, take the evening to explore at your leisure.
Day 4: Thursday May 29
First day of teaching at Escola Maria Felipa This afternoon you will experience the exotic flavors of Salvador with a cooking class! You will learn about the origins of Brazilian cuisine, beginning with a visit to a local market to select produce to prepare a traditional Afro-Brazilian dish for dinner.
Day 5: Friday May 30
Second day of teaching at Escola Maria Felipa Step into your swimsuit. We will spend the afternoon at Praia Farol da Barra Beach. One of the most popular beaches in Salvador, Praia Farol da Barra has soft sand and low waves. The big rollers from the Atlantic are broken by benches of rock that serve as a reef and protect the beach. Enjoy well deserved relaxation. Tonight we will dance the Samba as we enjoy Salvador’s nightlife!
Day 6: Saturday May 31
Tonight we will celebrate our last night together with a heartfelt farewell dinner. In the spirit of love, we ask that everyone wear garments of red, pink, or magenta for a touch of love farewell party!
