This is an Alternative Spring Break experience you do not want to miss! In this tour package you will experience the best of both worlds! Volunteering and Partying! The first half of the week will consist of us serving at a school in a favela community. The second half of the week will consist of dancing & singing along with music artists at Lollapalooza São Paulo! Let’s enjoy music, art, gastronomy, fashion and much more! To secure your spot make a $100 registration deposit today. Registration closes September 15th. You can pay the tour in full or make monthly installments due on the 15th of every month. Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival: Monday March 24
Upon arrival, the group will be met by guides holding The True Story Tourism Group Sign. You will be transferred to your airbnb for check in. Afternoon at your leisure. Welcome Dinner in the evening.
Day 2: Tuesday March 25
First day of volunteering. In the evening we will be met by our tour guide Guilerme (Gui) who will take us on a tour of the city!
Day 3: Wednesday March 26
Second day of volunteering at the Community Center. Now that you have learned about São Paulo through our city tour, take the afternoon to explore at your leisure.
Day 4: Thursday March 27
Final day of volunteering at the Community Center. This afternoon you will experience the exotic flavors of São Paulo through a cooking class with a family from the city's community. You will learn about the origins of Brazilian cuisine, beginning with a visit to a market to select produce to prepare a traditional Afro-Brazilian dish for lunch.
Day 5: Friday March 28
Gear up! Today we are going to Lollapalooza!
Day 6: Saturday March 29
Second day of Lollapalooza!
Day 7: Sunday March 30
